CORE CAPABILITIES

Everything in the CLI today

Quick to install

Set up in under a minute, distributed through npm with no separate runtime to manage.

Secure sign-in

Authenticate through your browser. Your session is stored safely on your machine, never passed around in scripts.

Stay signed in

Sessions persist across restarts, so you're not signing in every time you open a new terminal window.

Look up your fleet directly

Check your identity, your organization, and device details without opening a dashboard.

Work across environments

Switch between environments in a single step, without juggling separate configurations.

Works anywhere, even headless

Sign in from environments without a browser, like a remote server, using a simple secondary-device flow.

Local session storage

Sign-in happens through your browser. Your session stays on your machine, not passed around in scripts or shared files.

Scoped and read-only in v1

Today's CLI can only read fleet data, so there's no risk of a stray script changing device state or policy.

SOC 2 & GDPR ready

Same compliance posture as the rest of the Swif platform. No separate trust story to evaluate.

“Swif.ai has effectively solved our software deployment and unified device management challenges. Their customer support is equally impressive — issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.”

FAQ

Answered

Can the CLI make changes to my devices?

Not yet. Today's version is read-only: it can look up your identity, organizations, and device details, but it can't lock, wipe, or change policy. Those actions are on the roadmap.

Does it work without a browser, like over SSH?

Yes. A secondary-device sign-in flow lets you authenticate from any browser, even on a different machine, so it works in remote and headless environments.

What platforms does it run on?

Anywhere Node.js runs: macOS, Linux, and Windows.

How is output structured for AI agents?

Every response can be returned in a machine-readable format alongside the standard view, so the same lookup works whether a person is reading it or an agent is parsing it.

How does authentication work, and is it secure?

Sign-in happens through your browser, and your session is stored locally, so you never have to paste credentials into a script or config file. You can sign out at any time.

Can I use multiple environments or accounts?

Yes. You can switch environments in a single step, without juggling separate configurations.
